WHO WE ARE

Kyren Tech is a sole proprietorship of Jenil Navin Shah, based in Thane, Maharashtra, India. We design websites, brand identity and digital presence systems. We are the controller of the personal information this policy describes, except where we act as a processor for a client, as set out under "When we work on your website". INFORMATION WE COLLECT

You give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, location, website address, what you are looking for, and whatever you tell us about your project — through this website, our contact form, the Kyren Assistant chat panel on our site, WhatsApp, email, calls, booking links or enquiries.

We collect automatically, if you allow analytics cookies: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site.

We do not ask for and do not want special category data — health, biometric, political or similar. Please do not send it to us.

The Kyren Assistant is the chat panel on this site. It answers from what we have written about our services. If it cannot answer, it passes the conversation so far to our server, which does not keep the conversation, and then replies with a way to reach us. If you use Share project details, what you enter reaches us by WhatsApp or email, like any other enquiry. Please do not put anything confidential or sensitive into it.

OUR LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Where data protection law applies to you, including the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we rely on:

• Contract — to answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and deliver work you have engaged us for.
• Legitimate interests — to run and secure this website, keep records of our conversations, and improve what we offer. We have considered your rights and do not believe this processing overrides them.
• Consent — for analytics cookies, and for any marketing message you have asked to receive. You can withdraw consent at any time and it does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
• Legal obligation — to keep financial and tax records we are required to keep.

You do not have to give us any information by law. If you want a reply or want us to work for you, we need enough to do that, and without it we cannot.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, provided by Google, to understand how visitors use it. These set cookies and process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager do not run until you accept them. When you first visit, we ask. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie choice link in the footer of any page.

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always on. They do not identify you.

We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance and traffic volume. These do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors, so they run on every visit.

PAYMENTS

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers — Razorpay, Skydo, PayPal and Wise. You can also pay by direct bank transfer. We never see or store your card details or payment credentials. Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We share the minimum necessary with the providers who help us operate: hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google, Vercel), form handling (Resend), booking (Calendly), email and communication tools. They act on our instructions. Payment providers (Razorpay, Skydo, PayPal, Wise) and WhatsApp handle your information under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

We will disclose information if the law requires it.

WHEN WE WORK ON YOUR WEBSITE

If you engage us, we will often need access to systems that hold information about your own clients: your website, your enquiry forms, your booking tool, your analytics.

In that situation you are the controller of that information and we act as your processor. We use it only to do the work you have asked us to do, never for anything of our own. Access is limited to the people working on your project, and when the engagement ends, our access ends with it.

We will put a data processing agreement in place with you before that access is given. Ask us for it at any time.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We are in India, and your information is processed and stored here and by the providers named above, some of which are in the United States and elsewhere.

India is not the subject of a UK or EU adequacy decision. Where you are in the UK or the EEA, we transfer your information on the basis that it is necessary to perform our contract with you or to take steps before entering one, and — for analytics — on your consent. If you would like a formal transfer safeguard in place before we begin, ask us and we will put one in writing with you. If you would rather we did not hold your information at all, tell us and we will delete it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client project records: for the life of the engagement and up to 3 years after it ends.
• Financial and tax records: for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
• Analytics data: as configured in Google Analytics, and no longer than 14 months.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or send it to someone else. You can object to or ask us to restrict how we use it, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Email hello@kyrentech.in and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the EEA you can complain to your national supervisory authority. We would rather you told us first.

SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us. This site is served over HTTPS, access to any client system is limited to the people working on that project, and we remove that access when the engagement ends.

If something goes wrong with your information and it is likely to affect you, we will tell you, and we will notify the relevant authority where the law requires it.

No transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise.

This site links to other websites and tools. Except for the providers that act on our instructions, named under "Sharing your information", we are not responsible for how they handle your information. Read their policies.

CHANGES

We update this page when what we do changes. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
